Online Individual Therapy for Gen Z, Millenials, and Mothers in Maryland and Oklahoma

Katana Jones, LMSW (she/her)

I understand firsthand the pressures of being a first-generation student, the challenges and joys of parenthood, and the struggles of postpartum depression and anxiety. I’ve been where you are – feeling lost, overwhelmed, and like I was just barely keeping my head above water.

But I’ve also experienced the power of healing and growth. That’s why I specialize in helping teens, young adults, and mothers feel seen, heard, and understood through eclectic, individualized therapy.

I use a blend of modalities (solution-focused brief therapy, client-centered therapy, bibliotherapy, mindfulness) to guide you in setting goals and developing problem-solving skills. Come as you are; I offer empathy, compassion, and open-mindedness to support your journey of self-improvement.

I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating unique and complex life experiences. My work focuses on empowering first-generation students to overcome academic and personal challenges, guiding mothers through the joys and struggles of motherhood at every stage, and helping teens develop resilience and navigate the complexities of adolescence.

As an eclectic therapist, I believe in personalized care. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to create a unique treatment plan for each individual, ensuring the best possible outcomes for their specific needs.

If you feel isolated or like an imposter in your own life, I can help.

The journey to healing isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it.

And the fact that you’re seeking help is already a sign of your strength and potential.

Together, we can develop practical tools and strategies to manage your stress, and create a life you love!
