What Therapy Looks Like Here

We do things a little differently around here.

Our flock at Ala Therapy Collective offers affirming, individualized therapy across Oklahoma for trauma, anxiety and depression, ADHD, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ identity, chronic illness, perinatal mental health, and the messy life transitions in between.

We do EMDR therapy for trauma, talk therapy that actually goes somewhere, and the kind of work that helps you actually take flight. No therapy mill energy. No one-size-fits-all approach. Just skilled clinicians doing the work with you.

Ala Therapy Collective is a diverse team of some pretty darn cool and skilled therapists (if we can say so ourselves!) who offer affirming care tailored specifically to you. No copy-paste treatment plans allowed.

Let’s say the quiet part out loud: yes, we’re a group practice, but we are absolutely not a therapy mill.

You’ll never be just a folder or a number on a spreadsheet to us. Providing deeply personalized care is the entire reason we built this flock in the first place.

If you’re hunting down identity-affirming therapy in Oklahoma for yourself, your kiddo, or the whole crew, you’re in the right place. From EMDR therapy for trauma and anxiety to forensic immigration evaluations for I 601/I 601A, VAWA, and asylum cases, we provide care that goes way beyond regular degular therapy to help you actually shake off old patterns and thrive.

Our team provides specialized online therapy across Oklahoma City and Tulsa, as well as California, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Texas, and Utah.

We make finding specialized, high-quality care simple.

How great is that?

Ala (pronounced AY-LA) means wing, and each therapist in our collective is like a feather in that wing, working together to be part of a greater whole.

And the most important mission of our flock? To help you take flight toward the life you want – and deserve.

Real Questions, Real Answers

  • Not at all. While we are fiercely proud to be a safe, identity-affirming haven for women and the LGBTQIA+ community, our collective is diverse because our communities are diverse. Our flock includes dedicated clinicians who specialize in working with men, veterans, and individuals from marginalized backgrounds. Whether you are dealing with military deployment trauma, structural burnout, societal expectations surrounding manhood, or intergenerational stress, you will find a therapist here who truly speaks your language.

  • Our main physical office is located in Oklahoma City, making in-person sessions easy to access for folks in OKC, Moore, Norman, and the surrounding metro areas. For our Neurodivergent IRL outdoor walk-and-talk therapy, sessions are held entirely outdoors in public parks, trails, and natural spaces across the greater Tulsa area. We coordinate the specific meeting locations based entirely on your teen's comfort and preferences, routinely serving families across Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Owasso, Bixby, Jenks, and Glenpool. Everything else is handled seamlessly statewide via our secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

  • Nope! If sitting in a room or staring at a Zoom screen makes you want to crawl out of your skin, we have a literal breath of fresh air for you. Our Neurodivergent IRL service is our signature outdoor walk-and-talk nature therapy based in the Tulsa area. We take therapy out of the clinical office setting and get into real life, out in nature, moving at whatever pace works for your brain and body. It is specifically designed for folks navigating ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, and general sensory processing sensitivities who thrive when moving their bodies.

  • Our physical office is located in OKC, making it easy to access for folks in Oklahoma City, Moore, Norman, and surrounding metro areas. All other therapeutic services and immigration evaluations are handled via our secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

  • We keep this part pretty darn cool and simple because medical billing is a headache nobody needs. Click our "Verify Your Benefits Today" button, type in your info, and our Client Care Coordinator, Jessie, will do the heavy lifting of calling the insurance company to figure out your coverage. For most folks, you'll only need to worry about your standard co-pay.

  • Never. A huge chunk of our practice is dedicated to providing genuinely safe, identity-affirming spaces. Whether you are seeking LGBTQIA+ affirming care, navigating polyamory or ethical non-monogamy (ENM), exploring alternative lifestyles, or unlearning systemic junk, you won't find a single ounce of "therapy mill" judgment here. We see the whole picture, structural issues included.

  • Only if it's actually getting in the way of your life right now. Our flock uses deep, heavy hitting tools like EMDR therapy for trauma alongside down-to-earth talk therapy that actually goes somewhere. We aren't here to just nod, smile, and collect a co-pay while you vent in circles. We are here to help you get your wings under you so you can live a much more expansive life.
